Don’t worry, US orders are still open — this is just a temporary pause to make sure you aren’t charged fees you shouldn’t be.

US Shipping Updates

As of August 29th, 2025, the de minimis exemption in the United States is no longer effective. This change impacts many small businesses shipping goods across the border.

Normally, under CUSMA (the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement), jewelry made in Canada is considered duty and tax free. However, because of this new policy, shipping carriers are adjusting their systems and procedures, and we need to wait until we have the proper documentation and clarity on how shipments will be handled.

✨ What this means for you:

  • We are temporarily pausing US shipments while we confirm the new process.

  • We are still accepting orders, and will continue making and preparing your jewelry as usual.

  • Our turnaround time is still 2–4 weeks on most items, so chances are this will not delay your order at all.

  • Shipping will resume as soon as carriers are ready and the paperwork is in place.

🖤 Why we’re pausing:

The last thing I want is for you to be charged unexpected duties or taxes you should not have to pay. By waiting a little, I can ensure your order crosses the border smoothly and fairly.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we navigate this change. Your support means everything — and I’ll keep this page updated as soon as shipments resume.

  • Yes! Orders are still open. I’ll continue making and preparing your jewelry while shipping is paused, so your piece will be ready to go once carriers give the green light.

  • Turnarounds remain 2–4 weeks. Since this pause is temporary, chances are it won’t affect your order at all. If shipping resumes before your piece is finished (which I expect it will), your order will leave right on time.

  • Because the US has ended the de minimis exemption, carriers are updating their systems and paperwork. While Canadian-made jewelry falls under CUSMA and therefore shouldn’t be subject to duties or taxes, I want to wait for official clarity so you aren’t charged fees you shouldn’t have to pay.

  • I believe this will resolve quickly, but realistically it may take a little while (1-3 weeks). As soon as carriers finalize the process, I’ll start shipping to the US again and update this page immediately.

  • I don’t think so, and under CUSMA you shouldn’t. That said, until carriers confirm the new procedures, I can’t guarantee it. That’s why I’m pausing shipments for now — to protect you from unexpected charges.

  • I don’t anticipate this lasting long — carriers are already working on it — but if things take significantly longer than expected, you’ll absolutely have the option of a refund. I want you to feel safe placing your order and to know that your support means everything.
